A Sneak Peek – June 15th Dinner at Full Circle Farm

Local farm photographer Audra Mulkern was at Full Circle Farm this week and snapped some great shots in anticipation of the upcoming Table to Farm dinner. With such beautiful surroundings, it is hard to imagine an evening anything less than extraordinary.

Despite what the sign above might say, on June 15th, the evening will begin with cocktails at 4:30 pm, followed by a farm tour and then dinner. Chef Peter Birk will be creating an exquisite dinner with local ingredients paired with wines from Southard Winery.  We have included a preview of the courses – though details may change slightly depending on produce available next week.

Menu:
Passed appetizer: tea-smoked weathervane scallop, roasted apricots with chevre. Piccola Cellars Pinot Noir Rose.

First course: Full Circle Farm kale salad with golden raisins, sunflower seeds, Samish Bay montasio, and saba. Southard Winery 2010 Columbia Valley White Wine.

Second course: Merv’s asparagus with Local Roots Farm Tokyo turnips, pink beauty radishes, and red romaine, Yarmuth Farm Creamery ‘dylan’. Southard Winery 2009 Lawrence Vineyard Roussane.
