As Executive Director, Dave has overall responsibility for the operation and representation of SVT to its various communities. Dave leads efforts to advance SnoValley Tilth’s mission; implementing policies, managing financial resources, managing partnerships, and representing the organization to our agricultural community, our partners, and our supporters.

Justine Berk

Farm Services Program Manager

As Farm Services Program Manager, Justine works to identify and respond to the needs of SnoValley Tilth’s farmer members, and develops programming for continuing technical and business support. This programming includes organizing and facilitating monthly potlucks and farm tours, technical intensive workshops, and Business Center courses and consultations. Additionally, Justine works to develop avenues of technical support for farmers, coordinates bulk buys and infrastructure sharing opportunities, and develops benefits for SVT’s farmer membership program.

Lainey Piland

Office Manager

In her role as Office Manager, Lainey supports program staff and the Executive Director in administrative and bookkeeping tasks and works to keeps the SnoValley Tilth office running smoothly. Lainey routes and responds to inquiries from the general public and SVT members, creates the quarterly SnoValley Tilth newsletter, processes memberships and sends renewal reminders, manages bill payment and invoicing, facilitates grant reporting, and supports annual fundraising and outreach events.

Sean Stratman

Experience Farming Project and Farmland Network Manager

In his role as manager of the Experience Farming Project, Sean manages the maintenance of the program’s two farm sites and oversees program participants.

Additionally, Sean manages the Farmland Network, a program to connect landowners with farmers seeking to lease land. In this role, Sean meets with landowners to assess infrastructure, soil, water access, road access, etc. in order to identify if the land is ready to be successfully farmed; as well as working with farmers to find the right piece of land for their farm business.
