SnoValley Tilth and Lowlands Farm CSA program is now open for signups!

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between customers and a local farm. You invest in this relationship by signing up at the start of the season to help the farm take on the initial expenses of growing each yewar, and in turn the farm makes a committment to bringing you a changing cariety of the highest quality produce throuhgout the season.

This year, our CSA provider will be Lowlands Farm, owned and operated by Alice VanderHaak.

What’s in a CSA Box?

The Lowlands Farm CSA follows a traditional model, which means your produce is chosen by your farmer to highlight the most fresh food from the farm each week. we work to pack a changing variety of items with menu planning in mind. Each box typically contains 8-10 items and boxes are often lightest and more greens-focused in the spring, and heaviest in the late summer to early fall.

Typically, a box contains salad greens and hearty greens, root vegetables, herbs or onions, snackable vegetables, and a mix of special items each season. There will be plenty of familiar favorites as well as new items to taste and explore!
