Please join us on Monday May 18th from 6-8pm for a tour of the joint farming venture of Steel Wheel Farm and Frisky Girl Farm in Fall City! Ryan of Steel Wheel and Ashley and Ellen of Frisky Girl teamed up at the beginning of 2025 with a clear belief that farming is too hard to do alone. Building on a successful CSA model from Frisky Girl and a thriving grain operation from Steel Wheel, these two farms have partnered to offer the “Greens to Grains CSA”. Come learn about how this partnership has evolved, the journey of becoming certified organic, small scale grain production, and diverse marketing practices.
SVT members are always encouraged to invite their crews and other farmers to attend. If you are not yet a member but would like to learn more about SVT by joining an event, please email Jennifer.
