Harvest Dinner

Sno-Valley Tilth, a local chapter of Washington Tilth invites anyone who values local agriculture and the joys of eating local, fresh farm products to join us for this annual event. Our mission is to provide a support network for farmers and consumers in the Snoqualmie and Snohomish Valleys.

Tickets to Sno-Valley Tilth's 2nd Annual Community Harvest Dinner are now on sale! 

There will be a no-host bar with organic beer and local wine from 5:30 until 6:30 followed by dinner. The wine will be provided by Pleasant Hill Winery.

The dinner menu includes a meal starter of chilled carrot, potato and ginger soup with cilantro pesto . . . a buffet of herb roasted chicken with smoked tomato sauce . . . vegetable lasagna with Walla-Walla onions, spinach, wild mushrooms and goat cheese, roasted fingerling potatoes, grilled summer vegetables with basil-balsamic vinaigrette and more including a dessert of a mixed berry-brown butter tart!

This amazing dinner will be created by Willows Lodge-Barking Frog restaurant Chef Martin Misich and Pastry Chef Melissa Walpole using produce from many of our Sno-Valley Tilth member growers.

Our dinner speaker is Becky Selengut, a chef and chef instructor, who currently teaches cooking for PCC. She will speak briefly about her passions--eating seasonally and how community is fostered through eating locally. There is more info about her on her website www.seasonalcornucopia.com

Let's mix and mingle, celebrate the bounty of our valley (and making it through another growing season), and be grateful for all the people who have come to appreciate good local food.

Tickets are $40/person and $25 for seniors and children 6-12 years old.

This event sold out early last year, so get your tickets at the Carnation Farmers Market info booth on Tuesdays from 3-7 PM, or call Becky Reimer, 425-333-6886 to order.
