Expert grower, Shelley Pasco of Whistling Train Farm, will lead participants through hands-on techniques for efficiently growing vining and trellising crops in the hoophouse, like tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, and other specialty items. Participants will have an opportunity for a question and answer session and leave with a variety of resources for their own growing.

Our Greenhouse Management Intensive gives participants a four-season view of how to most effectively utilize greenhouses. The intensive is divided into four workshops, each tackling specific topics through hands-on demonstrations with farmer teachers.

SnoValley Tilth’s “Technical Intensives” are courses intended to provide farmers with peer-to-peer mentorship and to lift up the expertise of local farmers. We also have a Weed Management Intensive that you can find more info about here.

  1. Hello, when will you set the dates for the October and January greenhouse management intensives? I want to remember to check back in then and, if they work for me, to sign up! Thanks 🙂
